A Talk about children

Today, in order to prepare for my moving, I went to UHaul to rent a truck, which is just a normal thing. However, at the place when I rented the truck, I met a special lady. It turned out that we are both pretty talkative, and we ended up chatting for everything while I was waiting for her to key in my reservation.

I forgot how it started, but it ended up talking about being the middle child in a family. Cuz I am a middle child, she is a middle child, and she has 3 children too. She started talking about how her elder son being spoiled and wont listen to her all the time. The same thing also applies to her brother, and now that I think of it, it also applies to my brother.

Well, it's jsut that usually the first born child will get spoiled most of the time. It's just becuz, hey, it's the first one! of cuz the parents will love him/her so much! That's how he/she get spoiled as they are growing up.

And then we talked about the last child, which turns out to be also spoiled most of the time too. Hey, it's the last one, they aint gonna have another cute little baby anymore. So, of cuz they gonna love him/her so much too. However, the level of spoilness of the last child just turns out to be related to how wealthy the family is though, and that, I kinda agree!

And lastly, we talked about the middle one. That usually the one being ignored in the family, and usually more easy-going or has better social skill then the others. That's becuz from when they are young, they already learn that they better not make the big brother/sister, as well as the small brother/sister, angry. The reason? simple, the first and last children are spoiled! That means they have more chances to get good stuff from parents! If you mess with them, who's gonna take the blame? of cuz the middle one.

Although I dont 100% agree with this ladies theory, I have to say, I found it makes a lot of sense. After all, I am a middle child.
