Summer vacation is here! or is it?

Summer vacation is here! Well, at least for most of my friends here in Canada. Watching them packing, calling ppl to get ride to the airport, covering up computers at home, storing up their pillows and quilts, cleaning up trash...All these stuff, kinda remind me when I was in undergrad. It was a happier time then. Got to spend whole 4 months in Hong Kong, just playing and enjoying the easy work from summer jobs. Those were good memories.

Today, my roommate Z, and my sis are going back to HK. Taking Z to the airport, calling my sis to wish her having a good trip, and then coming back home alone, kinda bring me the feeling of loneliness. I am a social person. I admit that I hate being alone most of the time. But due to recent emotional downturn, this feeling of loneliness actually cool me down a bit, allowing me to think deeper into my research, my life, my lovely gf, and my future goals.

It's been a tough 6 months for me. Enjoying a nice time in Taiwan in Nov, having an emotional crisis in Dec, got a chance to see Shanghai in Jan, frustrated from missing the deadline to a major conference in Feb, Failing the midterm of my last grad course in my life in March, being worked up for the final exam of the same course in April. I feel like didnt really accomplish anything in 2005 yet.

Well, it's May now. A new month. Got to get a whole new spirit starting. Wish me luck!
