It's Microsoft again...
Just recently I've heard about a news in the computer industry. It's about the technology that's used in the popular player: iPod.
As most of the people know, the touch wheel for netvigating on the iPod is developed by Apple, and is one of the many reasons why the iPod is so popular nowadays. However, news comes out that Microsoft has filed a patent for that technology five months before Apple did. Now, what does that mean?
If Microsoft is granted the patent, due to the success the iPod has had in the recent times, Apple will have to pay a huge amount of loyalty to Microsoft for the technology that is used in iPod.
I find this pretty ridiculous that Microsoft will do such a thing in order to try and slow down the success Apple has in the digital music market with iPod. Although Apple will have to take the blame too since they are so slow in filing the patent themselves after they've sold so many iPod.
I just feel kinda disgusted that how dirty this world is. Oh well, afterall, it's just all about money at the end, and moral pays only a small, tiny, petit role in the business world, i guess...
